Check the exact modifier model before buying or mounting it. A matching mount is not enough to establish compatibility with the Nanlite FC-1200B or FC-1200C. This guide sets out the recommended combinations, required adapters and exclusions in the supplied FC-1200B/1200C Modifier Compatibility chart.

RF-BE-PB is conditional, not an unrestricted full-power recommendation. The source chart marks it Yes, but also specifies a power limit of ≤800 W and an ambient temperature below 40°C. Obtain manufacturer-confirmed FC-1200B/1200C operating settings before using this combination. Do not calculate a safe dimmer percentage from wattage alone.
The source power entries for PJ-NLM-15-30, FL-28 and FL-35E refer to named Evoke fixtures. They are reproduced below for accuracy, not as FC operating settings. FL-35E remains not recommended despite its higher stated power rating.
For SB-FM-RP60, SB-FMM-60 and LT-FMM-60, fit the included Bowens-mount speed ring. The FM fitting alone is not the approved setup.

No. Use the exact recommended models. The chart excludes several Bowens accessories, including PJ-BM-19/36, PJ-BM-25-45, FL-20G, BDR-BM-40/70, RF-BM-45 and BD-BM-RF45.
No such permission is given in the chart. Obtain specific manufacturer guidance rather than assuming a lower dimmer setting removes the restriction.
AS-NLA-BE. Check the exact modifier model as well as the adapter; the chart still excludes several NL accessories.
They are different models. The chart lists RF-BM as metal and recommended, and RF-BM-45 as plastic and not recommended. Similar names and matching beam angles do not make them interchangeable.
Do not infer compatibility from mount type, appearance or wattage. Contact PROtog with the complete model code for confirmation before use.
