At PROtog, we pride ourselves on supplying the highest quality LED video lights, continuous lighting, and video lighting to some of Australia’s most popular tv shows, from Masterchef to The Block, and news programs such as Sunrise and Channel Ten News.
We’re also proud to be the Australian distributor of Nanlite and Nanlux, both of whom manufacture high quality LED lights. Now with over 30 years of experience in producing LED lights, Nanguang (parent company of both) has a large range of LED lights and continuous lighting suitable for many different projects.
The brands are growing and becoming more and more popular for use by videographers, broadcasters, large studios & production houses, film makers, photographers and artists. The factory is producing and manufacturing all of these products themselves, with up to 350 staff members on board. They have an extensive R+D Team who do listen to their customers and suppliers making improvements to their products as they go.
Continued improvements in colour accuracy, light control, and increased power output means LED lights are taking over lighting for video production. We now offer a wide range of LED light formats, from LED Fresnel's with focusable throw, tube lights (PavoTubes) in varying lengths, to 3 light interview kits, to classic LED panels with high output and small form factor.
Also, due to progress in camera sensor technology and the ability to run at higher ISO levels, LED lights are now able to be reliably used for continuous lighting photography. For specific situations such as babies, children, and animals, continuous light is preferable to flash lighting, due to the elimination of the startle reflex from the flash triggering.
